Hours and Pricing

Gifts Certificates (in any amount) are available for purchase as a unique gift for that special someone!  They may use it when fishing in our catfish ponds or to purchase bait and tackle in our retail store!

/Winter   Hours:

Catfish Ponds:  8:00 am - 3:30 pm Daily 

Reminder the last admission to fishing ponds in 2:30 pm

Bait & Tackle Store:  8:00 am - 3:30 pm  Everyday

Pole Rentals: $4.99 per pole for the day or portion thereof. 

Cost: No admission fee, no age limit and no fishing license required to fish in our ponds. You must keep (no catch and release) and pay for all the fish you catch. The current price for catfish is $4.49 per pound live weight whole (no cutting) or $5.49 per pound live weight cleaned (fillet, dress, etc. and your fish is bagged on ice). Our catfish weigh from 1 - 6 pounds and the average weight is 2 pounds.

No Pets Please. 

Fishing Tackle, Bait & Other Information: You are welcomed to use you own fishing poles as long as they are equipped with a minimum of 14 lb. test line. We do not allow any bait brought in to be used in our ponds. You must purchase bait when you check in to fish and the bait prices range from $2.50 - $7.00.

Live Bait: We carry the largest selection of  live bait on Canyon Lake, including minnows and hybrid perch. Call for pricing. We have the lowest price on minnows.
