Largemouth Bass: Fair  all day to 4 lbs.  early on White River2sea Bubble Popper 65 or shad Sebile SR Crankerster. Later on a shaky rigged  Berkley green pumpkin gold Bottom Hopper or green pumpkin Kinky Beaver. Whacky  rigged watermelon /greep pumpkin Berkley 5"sinkworms, drop shot  baby bass 4 in 3:16 mission fish, watermelon blue Zoom Super Fluke  or green pumpkin  3 in chigger craw  rigged on a green pumpkin red 1/2 Berkley Gripper football head jig  along creek beds, rocky dropoffs and main lake  points in 5-20 feet. 

Smallmouth Bass:  Good  to 3 lbs. on blue fleck  1/4 Berkley Gripper Finesse jig   with a green pumpkin sunthin 3 in berkley the  Deuce and watermelon red River2Sea Stand'n Yabbie 50 over rock piles and along bluffs in 10-25 feet.

White Bass: Good  trolling pearl white Bomber fat free shad or 1/4 texas shad Luhr Jensen Hot  Lips express, or  jigging  a shad color 1/2 oz Bagley Prizm Minnow Jig.

Crappie:  Fair  on  live minnows or chartruese  Berkley crappie nibbles around brush piles and submerged trees upriver in 4-12 feet.

Striper: Good trolling a Swarmbella Umbrella Rig rigged with 3 In White IceR iver2sea bottom Walkers or White Berkley Gulp Minnow in 30-40 ft ,    vertically jigging chartreuse/silver 1-1/2 oz. Terminator pirk minnows or perch 1 oz Bagley Prizm  minnow jig on main lake points and drifting hybrid bluegill or shad around the dam at night in 15-50 feet.

Perch:  Fair on trout worms, Berkley Gulp Alive Crickets  or white Berkley maggots.

Channel Catfish:  Slow om Lewis King's punch bait,  Big Marv's cheese bait or comets   in 20-40 feet.

Blue and Yellow Catfish:  Slow on trotlines and juglines baited with perch in 10- 30 feet.

Largemouth Bass:  Fair all day  on Chartruese Sebile  Crankster  SR, white River2sea Bully wa 75 or  Bone whopper plopper 130   in back of coves and  later on whacky rigged green pumpkin party Berkley 7" fat sink worms ,   or carolina rigged  6 in shad 3:16 Mission Fish or Rising Son over submerged vegetation and timber  in 3-15 ft.  Also good on a shaky rigged  California 420 RI Big Dipper   or Tequila Sunrise Berkley hand poured finesse worm.  A green pumpkin blue flake Berkley 4" power hawg,  Texan Berkley Pit Boss or junebug kinky beaver  rigged on a Watemelon 1 oz Berkley Gripper Footbll  Head Jig  or deep cranking a chartruese sexy baby bass DD22  or fried green tomato   3/4 oz. Luhr Jensen hot lips express in 10-20  feet over submerged structures will also work  great.

White Bass: Good trolling a pearl white bomber, 1/4 oz Lemonade Luhr Jensen Hot  Lips Express or Caifornia Umbrell rig rigged  with 3 in pearl white Berkley Power Minnows.  Drop shotting   live minnows and chartruese 1/16 oz. Johnson beetle bou on main lake points

Crappie:  Good on chartreuse/black  Curb's crappie jigs tipped with live minnows over brush piles and standing timber upriver around 99 bridge or main   lake points in 8-20 feet. 

Channel and Blue Catfish: Fair  on Lewis King's punch bait or Big Marv's cheese bait in 6-20 feet and upriver on trotlines baited with Schultz soap bait.

Yellow Catfish:  Slow on trotlines baited with perch or cut shad in 10-30 feet.

LAKE AMISTAD - Updated 02/01/12

Water Clarity: Stained Water Temp: 60 degrees 

Largemouth Bass:   Fair all day  on Bonz White River2sea rover 128, bone River2 sea Whopper Plopper 130 or white Bully WA in back of coves. Also good on shakyhead rigged  brown gold flake Berkley 8 in Juice worm  ,  watermleon big  red 12 in Berkley power worm ,   or carolina rigged a California  420  zoom magnum super flukes, Hotbelly Bass Optimum Baby Line thru 05 or  sunfish 3:16 rising son  over vegetation and timber in main river channels in 5-20 feet.   A Charlie Walker weedless  Umbrella Rig fitted with a 3" bleeding shad River2sea Bottom Walker  or   Pearl Sexy Shad  3/4 oz. Luhr Jensen hot lips or chartruese baby bass DD22  throughout the day in 12-20 feet over submerged structure and  grass will  also do the trick.

White Bass:  Good vertically jigging chrome Tony Accetta spoons on main lake points or in back of coves or trolling a 1/4 oz tennessee shad Luhr Jensen Hot Lips Express. 

Striped Bass: Good  trolling or down rigging a 3/4 White Williams Banjo Eye Jigs in 15-40 ft, vertically jigging a 1 oz perch Bagley Prizm Minnow Jigs or   drifting hybrid bluegills by the dam in 10-30 feet.

Catfish:  Fair on Lewis King's punch bait, live perch and shad in 6-30 feet.

FALCON LAKE - Updated 2/01/12

Water Clarity: Stained Water Temp: 63 degrees 

Largemouth Bass: Good all day  on a River2sea white  bully wa 75 frog or  and  Bone Chub Creek Knuckle Head or River2sea Whopper PLopper 130  in back of coves. Later on shaky rigged watermelon Big Red berkley 12 power worm  or  carolina rigged Shad River2sea Bottom Walker 150, Bluegill 3:16 Rising son or 7 inch Mission Fish ,   Californai 420 or Plum   zoom magnum super fluke  around timber in main channels and  ledges in 8-15 feet. Also good on 1 oz crawfish Berkley Gripper Football Head  jig with a talapia big bite craw tube trailer  or deep cranking a fried green tomato, Moss Back Craw  or copper perch 3/4 oz. Luhr Jensen hot lips in 18-25 feet.

Crappie: Fair on live minnows, white crappie jigs or black shad Berkley power minnows up river in back  of coves.

Channel/Blue Catfish: Fair  on Lewis King's punch bait or  Big Marv's cheese bait.

Yellow Catfish: slow on trotlines baited with live perch in 8-20 feet.
